We have completed hundreds of projects in the industry/commercial sector of the market, on assets that have been visionary for pushing the frontiers of buildability and sustainability. ANL have always enjoyed partnering with these clients at the very early stages of the design, to help support project teams in what can be achieved in the landscape design and construct.
Working for builders Probuild Construction and their clients Austcorp and Yarra City, we completed the 5-Star Green Star Certified 370 Docklands Drive in 2008.
Our scope of works included;

The Central City Studios development encompasses four large sound studios, one television studio and post-production amenities in separate buildings. We worked alongside Probuild Constructions to achieve a fantastic result for this project.

- Installation of 10 super advanced Washington Robusta Palms reaching 7m heights
- Advanced tree planting
- Large open spaced lawn areas
- Design and construction of an irrigation system
- Landscape maintenance
In addition to the City of Melbourne civil works to both Bourke Street and Wurundjeri Way at Melbourne’s Docklands precinct, we completed works on Level 2 of Etihad Stadium’s concourse. This included asphalting, concreting and construction of feature in-situ concrete terraces, expansion joints, custom street furniture, planters, feature gardens and timber decks.
This tranquil rooftop garden, which was Feng Shui-inspired, was designed by Hassell Landscape Architects to complement the building’s multi-coloured kite-shaped design. A significant contributor to the 5 Star Green Rating achieved, the endemic roof garden encompassed bluestone and granite flagstone paving, timber decking, custom furniture, hanging baskets and bamboo plants. The terrace also features an outdoor kitchen complete with a herb garden and meals area.
Engaged by builders Hansen Yuncken and their client Southern Metropolitan Cemeteries Trust, we worked on the $50million redevelopment of the highly regarded Bunurong Memorial facility in April 2016.
This substantial 11 hectare site promotes a distinctive Australian theme and we delivered a range of effects, including native plants combined with rusted steel landscape walls, red earth paths and grassed berms to create a unique visitor experience. This master cemetery will meet Melbourne’s population interment needs for at least 70 forthcoming years whilst also providing visitors with state-of-the-art function facilities and activity areas for children.
ANL completed the hard and soft landscape works for the new 600M Melbourne Market Relocation Project, this was PPP project for the State Government of Victoria and Lend Lease builders. Our scope of works included demo, bulk excavation, feature gabion walls, exposed aggregate pavements and soft landscaping.
Under a design and construction contract for clients Salta Properties Group and builders Hacer Group, we achieved a fantastic result for the Nexus Corporate Park facility.
